Tynisa j. Martin

Tynisa J. Martin is an innovator in the realm of education. She is a Special Education Teacher as well as a Teacher Leader who mentors and coaches aspiring Teachers and those new in their teaching roles. Tynisa is currently pursuing a PhD in Special Education and holds a M.S. ED- from Long Island University, Brooklyn, a M.A. & B.A. from St. John’s University. Tynisa has worked in various capacities to ensure Equity and Access is ensured to both students and staff across New York City Public Schools. Ms. Martin believes in creating a project-based learning approach and experiences that is centered on maximizing student’s gifts, interests, and individualistic development.
